When deciding what to do with your loved one’s ashes, there are many different options available. The best part is not having to make only one decision. You could choose to do multiple different things and share with other family members and loved ones. That’s one thing we love about the idea of cremation jewelry. You only need to use a little bit of ashes and can keep your loved one close to you all the time.

There are many different types of jewelry available to choose from depending on the style of the person wearing the jewelry. Most cremation jewelry is designed to simply place a small amount of ashes into the locket or pendant. There are also options of glass jewelry or stones made with the ashes incorporated. Or, you could even choose a fingerprint necklace or ring, with the fingerprint of your loved one on it. Some can even be engraved with a name, date or saying if that is something that is important to you. Most pieces are inconspicuous and look like traditional pieces of jewelry.

If jewelry isn’t what you’re looking for, there are other types of keepsakes to choose from. Metal, wood or even teddy bear designs are available to place ashes in. These can be displayed on a shelf, desk, mantel or anywhere you choose, similar to an urn but with a less obvious look.

Cremation jewelry can also be a nice gift for friends and loved ones. You could let others choose a piece of jewelry they prefer, or choose for them as a gift. Whatever you decide, it can be helpful and comforting to feel like you have a part of your loved one nearby.
